Food service jobs whether full or part time has become sparse for job seekers.  It’s sure not the lack of enthusiasm from the job seekers; the resumes are still flowing into food service establishments through on and off line staffing agencies at a steady pace.   The fact is that less people are going out to eat because of the down turn in our struggling global economy. Now, a new concept has emerged, it’s called Tempway Job on Demand Service; this service gives the job seeker the advantage to broker himself (freelance).  Restaurants still need workers; they just don’t need as many.  The Tempway concept is simple, here’s how it works, individuals willing to work in various food service jobs upload their resume and photo (optional) to the site, Tempway geographically links workers with food service providers based on zip codes. When the individual is available to work, they turn on a small flashing light that Tempway developers call a "blinking beacon." The "blinking beacon" is  a signal to food service businesses in the area that the individual is ready, willing and able to work immediately.   The concept is beneficial for both the food service establishment and job seeker.
